Rent a hut

The Harzkristall glass manufactory offers business customers, art colleges, artists and designers the opportunity to rent space at any time to realize their own projects. Clear glass is melted, which can also be combined with numerous colored glasses from the Reichenbach colored glassworks. Experienced glassmakers will help you to realize your designs if required. In addition to the traditional mouth-blowing process, our employees are also skilled in glass casting. The following equipment is available to you when renting our glassworks.

Working at the furnace

  • two work areas
  • a large gas furnace with a melting capacity of approx. 300 kg
  • a pipe preheater
  • a pipe cooler/shower
  • a marble plate 1 x 1.5 m
  • two glassmaking benches
  • two tenon furnaces for heating glass tenons
  • one large melting drum (size of the working holes: 0.4m; 0.3m; 0.15m/ 0.7m depth)
  • a small melting drum (0.2 m x 0.2 m/ 0.4 m depth)
  • one large annealing furnace
  • three small annealing lehrs
  • Colors are additionally available against payment

 

Cold processing in the grinding shop

  • two basic disks (large and small)
  • one coarse and two fine diamond blades
  • one horizontal saw
  • one vertical saw
  • one blasting machine
  • a drill (3- 70mm)
  • one polishing disk
  • two balling machines
  • two belt sanders
